Trouvaille kicked off the company’s new, weekly YouTube series yesterday with a talk titled, “The cruise industry: what’s new?“. Offering both recorded and livestream presentations, Trouvaille CEO Paul Hardersen gave an overview of the current status of the cruise industry, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industry, and what people can expect from the cruise industry in the coming months. “Everything is currently dependent on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, the lifting of the no-sail order in the U.S., and how the cruise lines develop and implement new cleanliness, sanitation, and COVID-19 prevention measures,” said Hardersen. The industry is also in the process of repatriating crewmembers to their homes while, at the same time, casting an eye toward the future — especially in 2021 and beyond — where the hope lies that the COVID-19 pandemic will wane and the travel industry will begin to rebound.
The recorded YouTube presentation can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/kTBNLaYIG1w. Trouvaille and Dr. Hardersen will be providing YouTube presentations on different travel topics every week. Next week’s talk will look at the global travel industry and the effects of COVID-19 on the travel industry and the prospects for travel to resume in the coming months.
