As a fundamental principle, Trouvaille is now dedicated to conducting its travel operations in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. In addition, the company is setting a major goal of being a carbon-free emitter in the future.
“This is an important statement and goal,” said Paul Hardersen, Trouvaille CEO. “From rising global temperatures and warming sea waters to microplastics pollution and landfill waste issues, we all must begin to operate in an environmentally sustainable manner. The travel industry is a major participant in the global community and it must take the lead in making all of its efforts environmentally sustainable.” The long-term goal of being a carbon-free company is an ambitious effort, as travel industry transportation sources are highly-dependent on fossil fuel sources and environmental practices are far from uniform in the industry. “There is hope, however, because people and businesses around the world are becoming aware of the global environmental issues that we all face,” said Hardersen. “It’s important that we act now to decrease and reverse the damage being done to our air, lands, waters, and life on our planet.”
