Trouvaille Layaway Plan

Trouvaille is happy to offer travelers a way to save up for a Trouvaille trip over time. We want to encourage all people to travel and this is another Trouvaille innovation to help make that happen.   • Participants can layaway money for up to 2 years, but can fund their plan as quickly as they desire.
  • Participants can layaway funds for one or more specific trips.
  • Once a layaway goal has been reached, participants must commit to a specific trip within 30 days of reaching their funding goal.
  • Each time you want to add to your layaway account, send an email to travel@trouvailletravel.org, specify the amount, and an invoice will be sent to you.
  • Participants will receive monthly emails showing what they have paid, what they owe, and the time remaining to make contributions.

Trouvaille Layaway Program Terms & Conditions

General

Regular installment payments may be made on a regular basis (i.e., weekly, monthly) or at times convenient for the layaway participant. The final balance, which must be defined initially by the participant, must be paid off no later than two years after the beginning of the layaway plan. Full payment must also be made at least two months prior to the trip that the participant has chosen to take.

Services

By participating in the Trouvaille Layaway Program, you agree to enter into a contract directly with Trouvaille LLC and to be bound by any additional terms and conditions that Trouvaille LLC imposes.

Trouvaille offers travelers a way to save up for any Trouvaille Signature Travel Experience over time. We want to encourage all people to travel and this is another Trouvaille innovation to help make that happen. It’s easy to do, easy to manage, and gives travelers a way to travel more. Specifically:

  • Participants can layaway money for up to two years.
  • A minimum deposit of 25% is required. The invoice for the deposit will be sent for payment and is due within seven days of receipt.
  • Participants can layaway funds for one or more trips. One form must be submitted for each trip placed on the layaway plan.
  • Once a layaway goal has been reached, participants must commit to a specific trip within 30 days of reaching their funding goal.
  • Each time you want to add funds to your layaway account, send an email to travel@trouvailletravel.org, specify the amount, and an invoice will be sent to you. Payments must be made within seven days of the date of the invoice.
  • Participants will receive monthly email updates showing what they have paid, what they owe, and the time remaining to make contributions.
  • After achieving the funding goal and committing to the chosen trip, participants can defer their funded trip up to two times for any reason or obtain a full refund. If participants do not use their funds after two tries and do not request a refund after the second trip deferral, then the layaway funding is non-refundable. The layaway refund schedule is as follows:
    • If the refund is requested up to 14 days after the second trip attempt, the refund is 100%.
    • If the refund is requested between 15 and 30 days after the second trip attempt, the refund is 50%.
    • If the refund is requested between 31 and 45 days after the second trip attempt, the refund is 25%.
    • If a refund request occurs more than 46 days after the second trip attempt, the refund is 0%.
  • Participants may specify a beneficiary in case of death during participation in the layaway program. The beneficiary should be specified to Trouvaille at travel@trouvailletravel.org after submission of the online application form. If the participant does not identify a beneficiary, then Trouvaille will not refund any layaway funds upon death of a layaway participant.
