I’m excited about my very first blog post here on Trouvaille!  I’ve been with Trouvaille for a few months now and I wanted to share a little bit about myself with our fellow travelers! First and foremost, like everyone else here at Trouvaille, I love to travel!  It’s exciting to get away from the day to day, visit new places, see new sites, and explore new cuisines.  And just like most people, I don’t get to do it as often as I would like.  My full time job is at NASA where I work as a flight controller – something I’m equally passionate about, but is also related to travelling, just to a much more difficult place to reach – the International Space Station.  I live in Houston and work remotely with the Trouvaille teams in Tucson and New York. One of my favorite hobbies goes hand-in-hand with travelling: photography.  Being able to capture a snapshot of that perfect moment – that beautiful sunset, amazing meal, or the smiles on your friends and family, there’s no feeling like it. Best of all, it’s one of the most unique souvenirs you can bring to remember your time there.  Nothing inspires me to travel more than seeing people share those moments they’ve captured. I know everyone on the Trouvaille team will be bringing their unique stories and insights into travelling that they’ll be sharing on our blog.  For me, I’ll be sharing some of the great photos I took while travelling, explaining some of the stories behind the photos, but hopefully to provide some inspiration to have you travel as well!  But that’s not all I want to talk about, there’s so much more related to travelling that I enjoy like making sure you have the right gear, being prepared, using great apps you can use on your phone, the list goes on! Looking forward to hearing from you! If there are any comments or ideas that you’d like me to cover, comment below!
