For lunch, we head over to The Lobster Shack at Two Lights where you’ll be able to sample your first lobster roll of this trip. Mid-afternoon we visit The Tate Museum in Portland, followed by fine dining at the Saltwater Grille Restaurant. If we have time during the day, we’ll also sneak in some shopping and sightseeing around downtown Portland.
After breakfast, we head over to the Victoria Mansion, get a tour of the history, architecture, and art of the mansion, followed by sampling another lobster roll at J’s Oyster. For the afternoon, we’ll take a drive along the coast to visit some nearby beaches and lighthouses. Sunday dinner will be served at the elegant MK Kitchen where we will enjoy the ambiance, scenery, and a fabulous meal.
Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a short trip north to the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath. In the afternoon, we embark on a 4-hour nature and lighthouse cruise along the coast of Maine. Be sure to bring your camera for this trip! Afterward, we will have an early dinner at Scales with another fabulous view of the ocean.
Enjoy a departure breakfast together with your fellow travelers, followed by transfers to the Portland International Airport so everyone can make their flights home. For people with late departures, we will try to sneak in one more lobster roll lunch. It’s just the right thing to do!
